Pinkerton scored twice in the first half and added four more in the second half. Maddie Lolicata had 2 goals. Amanda Szostak, Kailee Robinson, Delany Conway, and Abby Amato each had one.

Maddy Humel and Amanda Thomas each had 2 assists while the game ball went to Cassie Woodes.

Shut the door, Astros

The JV Lady Astros held Merrimack scoreless Oct. 2, 2-0.

Goals were scored by Delaney Conway and Kristen Crowell; an assist came from Maddie Humel. They team had great transition defense as midfielders Amanda Szostak, Cassie Woodes and Emily Mosner are stepping up. The game ball went to Amanda Thomas.


Young Astros come up short

The freshman Lady Astros played at N. Andover Sept. 29 and lost, 3-1.

Emma Bennet scored Pinkerton’s only goal. She and Sarah Nowick did great getting the ball up the field throughout the game. Bridgett Geary stepped up as a midfield, along with Sam Torres.

Tough loss for Pinkerton

The freshman Lady Asktros hosted Souhegan Oct. 1 and fell, 3-1.

It was all tied up at the half, 1-1. Emma Bennett scored the Astros’ goal.

Call that a win

The freshman Lady Astros defeated Nashua North Oct. 3, 3-1.

Eleni Dionis scored first to get it started. Joining her with goals were Sarah Nowick and Rachel Spellman. They played aggressively and showed their improvements on the field.



Astros crush Memorial

The varsity Astros traveled to Manchester Memorial and returned with a win, 61-21.

After the first quarter, the score was tied, 7-7.

The Astros held Memorial scoreless in the second quarter and led 34-7 at the half.

The defense was able to hold the Crusaders to only one touchdown in each of the remaining two quarters, taking the game with a final score of 61-21. Manny Latimore played well with 267 rushing yards and 4 rushing touchdowns.

The Astros are set to take on Concord on Friday, under the lights on Pinkerton’s home field.
