Brittany Capozzi



Brittany Capozzi came into the meet on Dec. 22 earning career bests in the vault and beam, taking first in both events. She also came in second on the floor and bars.

She scored a personal best in the all-around with 35.95, capturing the first all-around win of her career.

Ice hockey

In the opening round of the ice hockey Christmas tournament against St. Dominic’s from Auburn, Maine, Sean Hall lead the Astros to victory with 25 saves.

In the last round of the tournament, Sean was able to rack up 13 more saves against Biddeford.

DERRY — It’s not too late to start the new year off on the path to better health.

Derry Parks & Recreation officials said there is still room in many of the winter fitness programs.

Those programs include adult yoga, Piloxing, Zengevity, men’s 30-plus basketball and judo.

DERRY — There will be a course for new,m entry-level soccer referees on Saturday, Feb. 1, from 8 a.m. to 5 p.m.

It will be held at the Marion Gerrish Community Center, 39 W. Broadway.

The minimum age is 12 and no prior referee experience is needed.

Preregistration and payment should be done online at

The total cost is $95, USSF 2014 referee registration of $45 and a course fee of $50.

Preregistration closes at 6 p.m. on Jan. 29.
