Young Astros look good

The JV Astros wrestled against Concord, Timberlane and Bedford. Pinkerton wrestlers had a very successful evening. Nathan Barnhart and Zach Vigroux went 1-0. Seamus Dolan went 3-0, all by pin. Bryan Sullivan also went 3-0, while Ben Trickett won both of his matches Isiah Martinez won his first high school match, but ended the evening with a 1-1 mark. Andy Richardson and Jake Weishaar wrestled well in their matches.


Lancer girls take second

The Londonderry girls competed at Salem on Jan. 22, finishing second in the team portion, behind Salem.

Individually, Maddy Britting won the vault with 9.1 and the floor exercises 9.0.

Astros win 'Think Pink'

Pinkerton attended the "Think Pink" meet at Nashua High North and won the meet with a season high of 137.45. Kaylee Pacunas was the standout for Pinkerton, winning the bars (9.0), beam (9.5), floor (8.55), and the all-around with a 36.1.

Pacunas took second on vault (9.0). Brittany Capozzi was right behind, taking second on the bars (8.9), beam (9.2) and the all-around (35.1). Freshman Julianna Corsetta grabbed third place finish on bars with an 8.0. On beam, it was sophomore Jackie Bogaczyk taking third with a 9.0.

Pinkerton grabs another first

Pinkerton hosted Goffstown, Pelham, and Exeter in a quad meet and won with 137.45.

It was junior standout Brittany Capozzi leading the Astros this meet; she won vault (9.25), bars ( 8.7) beam (9.25) and all around (35.9). Right behind Capozzi was senior standout Kaylee Pacunas. Pacunas was second on vault (9.0), bars (8.3), beam (9.0), and all around (35.15). Pacunas won floor, where Capozzi took second.

Freshman Elizabeth Bilodeau placed third on bars (7.8) and floor (8.4) respectively for the Astros where freshman Kylie Muzerall took third on vault (8.35). Freshman Julianna Corsetta took third on beam (8.9), leading Pinkerton to a sweep on all four events and the all-around.


Lancer boys sweep

In a home swim meet Jan. 24, the Londonderry boys swept their opponents, defeating Keene 137-22, Milford 136-30, Nashua North 110-59.
