Morgan Exterior Rangers 12, Handel With Care Blue Jays 5
The Rangers beat the Blue Jays 12-5 in playoff action. Matt Clark pitched another gem with several strikeouts to go four strong innings Adam Bloch came in for an inning of strong relief. Hannah Lynch, Hunter Negri, Matt Clark,Adam Bloch and Andrew Giampaolo all had hits in the game.

Tom Hanlon pitched 4 great innings giving up 3 hits on the day and striking out 6 others. Peter Sieg gave up no hits¬ and struck out 5 of the 12 batters he faced in the last 2 innings.
The Nationals offense combined for 5 hits on the day. Hitting stats on the day were; Jeff Cole - 2 for 2 with a triple and a single, Tom Hanlon - 1 for 2 with a single and Joe Giammichele - 2 for 3 with a pair of singles.
The Rangers lead off the game with 2 runs in the first inning and until the 3rd. In the 3rd, the Nationals rallied to get 3 runs capped by Jeff Cole with¬ an in the park homerun,¬ giving the Nationals the lead 4 -2.
Each team¬ scored 1 in the 4th¬ and the Nationals held the lead 5 - 3 going into the 6th. Rangers scored 2 in the top of the 6th to tie it up 5 - 5 going into the bottom of the sixth.
The 6th started off for the Nationals with a strikeout. Then Robert Young walked putting the winning run on first base. Jeff Cole stepped to the plate and hit a single advancing the winning run to 2nd base.
This puts runners at 1st and 2nd with 1 out. Joe Giammichele hit a hard shot down the first base line for the walk-off hit¬ allowing Robert Young to score¬ from second for the game winning run.¬

Londonderry High School graduates Sean Ryan, a redshirt freshman at UNH, will suit up for the Wildcats, while brother Casey Ryan will be dressing as a Blue Devil. They are pictured above in the days they played for the Lancers. -
