Girls U10 Travel Soccer
The Derry Soccer Club is looking for players interested in joining the Derry Eagles Girls U10 team for the fall season. Players born between Aug. 1, 1999, and July 31, 2000, are eligible. The Derry Soccer Club provides professional training in the fall and spring seasons through the British Challenger Organization. The team will compete in the Granite State Youth Soccer League, playing two tournaments in the fall, and one in the spring. If interested, contact the Derry Eagles at derryeagles@comcast.net.
Grasshopper baseball
Grasshoppers is a recreational baseball program open to children ages 5 through 9 years. Participants are placed in an age group based on their age as of July 1, 2009. All registrants must be 5 years of age by July 1st, 2009 and must show a birth certificate upon registration. Games are played on Monday and Wednesday at 6:30 p.m.
The season begins July 13 and lasts 6 weeks. Games are played at Don Ball Park and Derry Village School. Registration fees are as follows: Derry residents - $25; Non-residents - $45.00; Each additional family member: $10. United Soccer camp
Londonderry United Soccer Club is proud to sponsor its 12th annual International Soccer Camp run by Dutch Soccer Academy (DSA). The camp will run from August 10-14 at Londonderry's West Road fields and offers full-day and half-day camps. DSA brings a staff of professional coaches from Europe & South America who are highly skilled and experienced.
We welcome players of all skill levels. Players will be grouped based on similar skill level, knowledge of the game and age. Our goal is for each player to have a challenging, exciting and fun experience. LIL Strikers soccer classes
Varsity Soccer Academy Director Kerry Boles announces the summer dates for soccer and fitness camps. The youth (grades one through eight) will be held during the week of July 20-24 from 9 a.m. to 3:30 p.m. The high school week (grades nine through 12) will be held during the week of July 27-31 from 9 a.m. to noon. Both camps will be held at Gilbert H Hood Middle School. Fitness camps will be offered during the weeks of Aug. 3-7 and Aug. 10-14 at the Pinkerton Academy track from 6-8 p.m. The fitness camps are open to all athletes that are trying out for a fall sport. These camps are not sport specific and focus on agility, endurance, stretching and cardiovascular activities. Space is limited for each week of fitness camp. Derry Eagles Soccer Program holding tryouts
The Derry Eagles travel soccer teams are holding tryouts during the month of June for the fall 2009 season. The tryout schedule for the U8 through U14 teams is posted to the Derry Soccer Club Web site at www.derrysoccerclub.org. While roster spots are limited by league rules, additional teams may be formed if enough players show interest.
All players must register online prior to attending tryouts. Registration information can also be found on the Derry Soccer Club Web site. Players who are not selected for an Eagles team roster will have their registration automatically converted to the Derry Hawks soccer program.
Players hoping to be competitive at the middle school level and above will have a greater advantage if they have already been immersed in additional skills training and more competitive game situations as offered by the Eagles travel soccer program. If you would like your child to play soccer at a more competitive level, pursue the Derry Eagles travel soccer teams.

Roster spots are filling fast and wait lists are near at some levels. The goal to place all Londonderry children.
