Hawks soar to title
The Hampstead Middle School baseball team defeated Litchfield 5-2 to capture the Tri-County Class M Championship. The Hawks also finished the regular season in first place with a 7-2-1 record. Londonderry High School graduates Sean Ryan, a redshirt freshman at UNH, will suit up for the Wildcats, while brother Casey Ryan will be dressing as a Blue Devil. They are pictured above in the days they played for the Lancers. -

Derry power lifter Carol Bowden described her affinity for lifting weights as almost an obsession. At age 62, she shows no signs of putting down the barbells.
