Rockingham Hunting and Fishing Expo

Stop by the New Hampshire Fish and Game booth to buy your 2014 New Hampshire hunting and fishing licenses and the 2014 New Hampshire Fish and Wildlife calendar. You can also pick up maps and the new 2014 NH freshwater and saltwater fishing digests.
The expo features many local and national outdoor products and services, as well as hunting and fishing seminars. Young outdoor enthusiasts will enjoy trying their luck at the trout pond or hitting the bull’s eye at the archery range.
Half the proceeds from the kids’ attractions at the Rockingham Expo will be donated to Barry Conservation Camp, the overnight summer camp for youth operated by Fish and Game in partnership with 4-H through UNH Cooperative Extension. Barry Camp programs focus on the shooting sports, hunting, fishing and other outdoor skills. The 2014 summer brochures for Barry Camp will be available at the Fish and Game booth.
Yankee Sportsman’s Classic

This outdoor expo features more than 175 exhibitors, including outfitters, hunting and fishing supplies, boats, RV’s, ATVs, snowmobiles and more. Stop by the N.H. Fish and Game booth to buy your license and pick up maps, literature and New Hampshire fishing digests for 2014.

New Hampshire Farm and Forest Exposition
Friday and Saturday, Feb. 7 and 8, 2014, at the Radisson Hotel/Center of New Hampshire (700 Elm Street) in Manchester. Since 1984, “New Hampshire’s Greatest Winter Fair” has offered commercial exhibits, educational sessions, student and exhibitor demonstrations, animals, an auction and activities for all ages.

Great Meredith Rotary Ice Fishing Derby
Saturday and Sunday, Feb. 8 and 9, 2014. The derby brings anglers to New Hampshire from all over the country to compete for $50,000 in cash prizes.
A grand prize winning fish (white perch, yellow perch, cusk, lake trout, pickerel, black crappie or rainbow trout) can be caught in any fresh water open to the public. During the derby, N.H. Fish and Game fisheries biologists Don Miller and John Viar will collect valuable fish data at the derby weigh-in.
As part of the event, Fish and Game’s “Let’s Go Fishing” Program presents free hands-on sessions for children and their parents on the basics of ice fishing. For tickets and information, visit meredithrotary.com.
