SPORTS BRIEFS

(Continued)

“The 10th anniversary race will be special in so many different ways with some cash prizes in addition to the special prizes, silent auction and the carnival atmosphere that will be created pre and post-race,” said road race co-chairman Paul Hogan, NHTI’s director of athletics.

The race benefits the Jen Kemp scholarship fund for NHTI students who excel in the classroom, perform community service and are active in NHTI student life. The race continues to grow in participation and as part of the CARS series; the race attracts many runners and families from the greater Concord area.

Interested participants can learn more about the race and sign up at nhti.edu/5k.
