UNH gymnastics offers youth clinic
DURHAM — The University of New Hampshire gymnastics program will hold an April Vacation Clinic on April 21 and 22 from 1 to 5 p.m. at the UNH gymnastics facility on the bottom floor of the Field House.
The clinic is designed to teach gymnasts from age 6 to eighth grade the fundamentals of gymnastics; the clinic goal is to meet the needs of each individual gymnast. Rotations will include vault, uneven bars, balance beam, floor exercise, trampoline, tumble track and strength/flexibility.
The cost of the clinic, which will be supervised by UNH gymnasts and members of the coaching staff, is $40 for one day or $65 for both days. There is a 10 percent discount for additional children from the same family.

Sign up now for summer soccer camp
DERRY — Kerry Boles, director of Varsity Soccer Academy, recently announced the dates for summer soccer camps.
The Youth Week (ages 7 to 13) will be held July 14-18 from 9 a.m. to 3 p.m. The High School Camp (grades 9-12) will be held July 21-25 from 9 a.m. to noon. Both camps will take place at Gilbert H. Hood Middle School.
The preseason Fitness/Conditioning camp will be Aug.4-8 from 6 to 8 p.m. at Pinkerton Academy’s track. The Fitness/Conditioning is open to any/all athletes who are planning to try out for an athletic team. It is not sport specific.

Join a benefit 5K on April 18
CONCORD — NHTI, Concord’s Community College, will host the 10th annual 5K benefit road race on Friday, April 18, at 6 p.m., attracting 500 runners and walkers. Following the race, a special kids race event will be held (free) starting at 6:45 pm.
