Pinkerton frosh fall

The freshman Astros’ last-inning comeback fell just short as the Astros lost, 6–4. Cody Gadsby and Marc Reardon had 2 hits each for the Astros.

The freshman team hosted Londonderry on Saturday. The Astros got a complete game 13 strike out effort from Arin Wilson and Nate Ralston added 2 hits as the Astros knocked off the Lancers 8 – 3.

Varsity

Lady Astros win, 4-2

Pinkerton’s Sam Hennequin was the winning pitcher when the Lady Astros defeated Spaulding, 4-2. She has seven strikeouts.

Kinsey Manchester singled home the tying run with 2 outs in the fifth inning and Lauren Phillips followed with a home run.

Exeter dominates

The varsity Lady Astros gave up 4 unearned runs and fell to Exeter, 5-1.

Natalie Fabrizio had a single, scored a run, and struck out 10 Exeter batters. Courtney Collins had Pinkerton’s only extra base hit.

Lady Astros earn shutout

Pinkerton’s varsity blanked Merrimack, 3-0, with Samantha Hennequin on the mound and Lauren Phillips behind the plate.

Kaylie DeCosmo drove home two insurance runs in the fourth with a double to center.

Lady Astros come up short

Concord blanked Pinkerton, 8-0.

Natalie Fabrizio and Samantha Hennequin pitched. Fabrizio had a double at the plate.

Blue Devils dominate

Salem topped the Lady Astros, 6-1.

Samantha Hennequin took the loss on the mound. She had six strikeouts and didn’t walk anyone.

Pinkerton is currently 2-5.

JV

Owls shut out JV Astros

The JV Timberlane Owls blanked Pinkerton, 10-0.

Ashley Walalis and Molly DeCarlo pitched for the Astros. Katelyn Kaliel, Abbey Doherty and Sarah Mesiner played strong defensively.

Gabi Tracy got a hit to center.

Junior Astros shut out

The JV Lady Astros lost to Spaulding, 8-0.

Lizzy Hayward, Katelynn Kalliel and Sarah Meisner were strong on defense.

Exeter tops Astros

The JV Lady Astros lost, 8-4, to Exeter. Ashley Walalis started, then Katelyn Kaliel tried to close the game. Hitting was sporadic.
