The Derry and Londonderry Legion teams were scheduled to face each other this past Sunday, but due to rain the game was called after four innings, tied, 2-2.
The teams will start from scratch in a make-up game that has not yet been scheduled.

Earlier in the week, Derry Legion defeated Hudson 7-3 for their first win in district play. On the mound for Derry was P.J. Singster, who pitched a complete game, striking out five batters, allowing just two earned runs. Nick Gregsak got the offense going 1-for-2 with a triple, two stolen bases and two runs scored.

Derry next defeated Sweeney Post at Gil Stadium, 7-5. Tyler Pacheco went three-for-four with three stolen bases and two runs scored. Ford Coates dominated on the mound, pitching a complete game, striking out 11, allowing four earned runs. Gregsak went two-for-four with a triple and two RBI. Derry improved to 2-3 on the season.
