Pinkerton's varsity ice hockey team traveled to St. Anselm on Sunday, Jan. 30, to take on Trinity.
The Astros struggled out of the gate. Cam Romano's second period goal completed a comeback that drew the Astros even at the time. Even though they were able to battle back to even the score entering the third, they never really found their game, dropping a 6-4 decision to Trinity.
In addition to Romano's second-period shot, the Astros got goals from Cam Verrier, Zach Sanford and Dom Corsetto.
Earning assist for Pinkerton in the loss were Mitch Moran (2), Ricky Priest, J.D. Dudek and Bailey Walsh.
Astro goalie Kevin Kent had 27 saves in the net.
