Volleyball
Boys JV
Pinkerton held off Londonderry to win its match against Londonderry 2-1, putting their record at 7-2. Tom Auger led the way in the deciding third game to top off the Lancers.
Girls Varsity
Londonderry's Brittany Buyck was sidelined for a hit to the head from the Mack Plaque match, but it didn't slow the Lancers as they beat Nashua South 3-1. Julie Wojewoda had 11 assists and 12 service points, while Katie Schwarz had 15 kills. LHS improved its record to 8-3.
JV
Ashleigh Collins had an excellent defensive game in Pinkerton Academy's 2-1 win over Londonderry High. Scores of the three games were 25-23, 25-16, and 20-22. Brooke Gardner had four kills, while Amber Craghead acquired 15 service points.
Football
JV
Pinkerton's JV football team brought its record to 4-1 with a score of 14-6 over Londonderry. Luke Somers teamed up with Cameron Cote for the game's first touchdown. Peter Field and Andrew MacMillan had important interceptions in the game against the Lancers. Kevin Davies scored the final touchdown, topping off PA's close win.
Soccer
Boys Varsity
For the second straight game, Pinkerton (11-0) recovered from a sluggish first half and rolled to a 4-0 win over Memorial. Senior Aaron Earle had a pair of goals in the win. Kyle Gundrum added a goal and an assist. Chris Doyle posted the shutout with three saves.
JV
Pinkerton Academy took a convincing win from Londonderry as they beat their arch rivals 3-0. Ryan MacMullen scored two goals as Nick Valentine and John Murphy played strong defense to make it look easy for the Astros victory.
Freshman
Pinkerton shut out its Dover opponents 6-0 in a one-sided game. There were six different scorers, with contributions from everyone. It was the Astros' impressive sixth shutout of the season.
Girls Varsity
Emily Schlacter and Elena Dauphinais had the goals, as Pinkerton (9-2) blanked Memorial, 2-0. Keeper Katie Harris turned aside five shots to post the shutout. Nicole Cuerdon and Stephanie Sayward had assists for the Astros.
JV
Pinkerton beat Londonderry High in a close 2-1 overtime win. The Astros needed to come from behind in the second half, behind 1-0. Brittany Masse and Sarah Goodwin had the tallies for PA, which stands undefeated at 8-0.
Field Hockey
JV
Pinkerton Academy crushed Londonderry 7-1, putting its record at 8-2-1. Layne Woodruff and Alyssa O'Donnell led the way, scoring two goals a piece. Michelle Reid, Brittany Hawkins and Makayla DiMambro each had goals, contributing to the Astros' victory.
Freshman
Pinkerton took a win from Souhegan 3-1, as Katelyn Erhardt collected two goals and Morgan Flagg scored her first goal of the season in the win. Their record improves to an impressive 7-0-1.
