Eagles soar to Florida

The Derry Eagles U10 girls entered six players in a 3v3 tournament in Hollis, N.H., in June and won the tournament to qualify for the Kick-It 3v3 Regional Tournament earlier this month in Buffalo, N.Y. Almost 140 teams of all age groups participated in the Buffalo event. Derry played teams from Long Island, Pittsburgh, Cleveland and North Attleboro, Mass. Placing fifth for their age group, Derry qualified for the National 3v3 Tournament held at Walt Disney World in January 2009. Pictured are Kyra Stariknok, Gretchen McGrath, Reanna Romano, Erica Parent, Mackenzie Donovan, Grace Quaratiello and coach David Bulk.
