Fri, May 16 2008 Baseball Will Cordeau had the game-winning RBI as Pinkerton JV scored four runs in the seventh to down Manchester Central 8-7. John Shavel picked up the win. Softball Murphy, Wazchuck excel at the plate Shannon Murphy and Becca Wazchuck both pitched well for Pinkerton JV, which downed Exeter 12-8. Murphy and Wazchuck also both hit triples, as did Lauren Rose. ... Alison Deleo had two hits and Becca Wazchuck had a double, but the Astros JV fell to Manchester Central 12-4. ... Olivia Chrestien was 2 for 3 with a solo home run and a double, but the Pinkerton freshmen dropped a tough 11-2 game to Merrimack. Tawni Gutierrez played well behind the plate, throwing out a Merrimack runner at third.
Boys Lacrosse Huston's big day lifts Pinkerton freshmen Sam Huston had three goals as the Pinkerton freshmen beat Winnacunnet 15-2. Jon Nowick and Dave Belanger also scored for the Astros.
Girls Lacrosse Santuccio stars in Astros JV loss Erin Santuccio had a strong game at midfield as Pinkerton JV lost to Longmeadow, Mass., 9-6.
