Accomac, VA — Nicholas J. Covatta, Jr., owner of an Eastern Shore nursery and a Norfolk-based equipment company, as well as a dedicated and generous supporter of Eastern Shore education and artistic enterprises, died early Sunday, November 25, 2012, at his home on Folly Creek, just outside of Accomac, VA. He was 66 years old and had been battling cancer for the past year.

Derry, NH — Priscilla L. (Pat) Lewis, 91, of Derry, died Tuesday November 20, 2012 at Parkland Medical Center. Mrs. Lewis was born August 6, 1921 in Lynn, MA and was the daughter of the late Philp and Clara (Bloomquist) Landall. She was a graduate of Lynn Classical High School, and was a graduate of the Chandler Secretarial School of Boston. She resided in Georgetown, MA, prior to moving to Derry in 1972.

Auburn, NH — Richard A. “Dick” Holm, 67, of Auburn, NH, died Sunday, November 18, 2012 in his home. He was born October 14, 1945 in E. Derry, a son of Russell and Bertha (Wiggins) Holm. He was a resident of Auburn for the past seven years, formerly living in Newton, NH and Sandown, NH. Growing up in Derry, he was a 1964 graduate of Pinkerton Academy. Mr. Holm was employed for over 30 years as a fabricator with Hadco Printed Circuits in Derry. He was a member of the Knights of Pythias, enjoyed fishing and traveling to cars shows throughout the US with his daughter, Angelique Holm. He also enjoyed drag racing with Buster. Mr. Holm will forever be remembered for his love of his granddaughters and his weekend sleepovers with them.

She had been a resident of Derry for the past 35 years, formerly living in Methuen. Linda had been employed by Raytheon in Andover for 40 years. She was a member of the Hoodkroft Country Club in Derry, she enjoyed golf and was an avid reader.

Londonderry, NH — Daniel (Dan) D. Tuden, 64, of Londonderry, NH died Thursday, November 8, 2012 at his home. Mr. Tuden was born in Boston, MA on October 29, 1948, a son of the late Eugene Sr. and Olga (Woloschuk) Tuden. He served as president of Delta Chi Fraternity at UMass Amherst. In the 1970’s he served as president of the Salem, NH teachers union and as a Boy Scout leader in the 1990’s. Recently retired after 26 years from Elbit Systems of America (formerly Kollsman, Inc.), a defense systems electronics company, Dan had been a Managing Systems Engineer and then Department Manager of the Proposal Center.
