Mrs. Swart was born, raised and educated in Lawrence and moved to Derry in the 1960’s. She worked for many years as a receptionist and office clerk at various businesses in the area. Derry, NH — Edward J. Lewis, 69, of Derry, N.H., passed away, Monday, August 19, 2013, at the Parkland Medical Center, Derry surrounded by his loving family. He was born on January 23, 1944, in Cambridge, Mass., a son of the late Harold and Hattie (Forsythe) Lewis. Edward was raised in Arlington, Mass., and moved to Derry in 1969. He proudly served his country in the US Army and met his wife while serving in Germany. Mr. Lewis worked in IT for the State of NH DMV for over 10 years. He enjoyed playing Santa at various locations. He enjoyed NASCAR, traveling and collecting HO Model trains.Continued ...

Londonderry, NH — Gail B. Weston, Jr., 88, of Londonderry, N.H., died August 22, 2013, in the Bedford Hills Care & Rehabilitation Center, Bedford, N.H. Mr. Weston was born in Derry, N.H., on August 26, 1924, a son of the late Gail B. Weston, Sr. and Dora (Paradis) Weston. He graduated from Pinkerton Academy in Derry, Class of 1942. He simultaneously joined the Navy in 1941 immediately after Pearl Harbor and served during WWII. He retired after over 30 years with Raytheon Company, where he worked as an engineer and was instrumental in the development of the Nike, Hawk and Sparrow Missile Systems. His time with Raytheon was spent in Andover, Bedford Labs and Port Hueneme, Calif. He was a member of St. Jude Parish and the American Legion Post #27, both of Londonderry. Mr. Weston was an avid golfer and also greatly enjoyed spending evenings with his friends at local restaurants.Continued ...

She was born in Boston, Mass., on September 14, 1946, a daughter of the late Glenn and Muriel (Brown) Frizzle. Prior to living in Bedford, she was a Raymond, N.H., resident for many years. Judy received her Associate's Degree in Nursing Science in 1995 from NH Vocational, Occupational and Technical Educational College in Manchester. She had worked for several nursing facilities in the area, and then for Concentra as a Managed Care Specialist. Judy was a member of Christian Fellowship Baptist Church in Londonderry, and she loved the Lord Jesus Christ. She enjoyed bird watching and caring for birds, and also enjoyed cross stitching.Continued ...

She worked as a Chef for the Common Man and Ashworth By the Sea. She enjoyed the beach, “Friday night family dinners,” and baking cakes. She was a clerical worker for Doehla Greeting Cards in Nashua as well as a typist and switchboard operator at several trucking companies. She was a graduate of Pinkerton Academy and a lifelong member of the Chester Congregational & Baptist Church. Norma enjoyed embroidery work as well as playing the organ and piano. Norma is survived by daughters, Sandra Wood of Florida and Linda Jendneak of Texas; brothers, Melvin Page of Wisconsin and Donald Page of Hudson; and several nieces, nephews and cousins. She was predeceased in 2001 by her husband, Samuel Cammett and her sister, Sylvia Falzone.Continued ...
