He was born in Alexandria, VA on September 19, 1962, a son of Jack L. and Martha (Derby) Waldron. “J.J.” had been a resident of Derry for the past nine years, formerly living in Gloucester, MA, having grown up in Virginia. He was a US Air Force veteran serving from May 11, 1984 to January 14, 1988. “J.J.” was employed as a repairman for the MBTA and had previously been employed by United Airlines for 17 years. He was an avid Washington Redskins fan, enjoyed Pink Floyd, and launching model rockets with his sons. He loved to barbecue and the family referred to him as the "Grill Master." “J.J.” will also be missed by his dog, Diesel.Continued ...

She lived and was raised in Somersworth, N.H. Mary graduated from Keene State Teachers College, where she met the love of her life, John. She began her 40-year teaching career in Belmont, N.H. Martha M. (Muse) Stikeman, 72
Salem, NH — Martha M. (Muse) Stikeman, 72, of Salem, N.H., died Thurs., Sept. 19, at Holy Family Hospital in Methuen, Mass. Martha was born in Malden, Mass., grew up and was educated in the Greenwood section of Wakefield, Mass. She was the daughter of the late Sarah (McGonagle) and Arthur Muse. Martha was a manager for Digital Equipment Corporation in Salem. She enjoyed wintering in Punta Gorda, Fla., where she was socially active in the community at Water's Edge, and where she lived on a sunny spot on a small pond with her husband of 51 years. Martha loved cooking for her family, working in her garden, quilting, and rooting for the Red Sox and Patriots. She especially loved her grandchildren. She is survived by her husband, David Stikeman of Salem, who decided he would marry her when he met her on the first day of school, in first grade. She was mother to three sons, James and his wife, Dee (Duncan), of Derry, N.H., John and his wife, Christina (Calabria), of Atkinson, N.H., Jeff and his wife, Darlene (DesFosses), of Wakefield, Mass. She was sister to Mary Dumont of Wakefield, Mass., and sister-in-law to Marilyn Cornett of Derry, N.H., and to Barbara Holloway of Wakefield. Martha adored her 8 grandchildren, Thomas, Joseph, Taylor, Amanda, Emily, Elizabeth, Henry, and Tucker. She was an aunt to several nieces and nephews.Continued ...

David H. Cross, 80
Summerfield, FL — David H. Cross passed away on Sept. 1, 2013 with his loving family by his side. Dave was born on Jan. 3, 1933 to the late Hurley and Beatrice Cross. He graduated from Pinkerton Academy in 1951 and worked at Skellys Garage in Haverhill, MA, for many years and at Centronics in Hudson, NH, until his retirement in 1988 at which time he and his wife moved to Florida, where they enjoyed many happy years. In his earlier years he was a member of the Masons and became a Shriner. Dave enjoyed boating and camping and spending time with his family. He had an awesome sense of humor and loved joking and making you laugh, which is how he got his nickname "Dirty Old Man." He will be sadly missed. He leaves his wife Alice (Haggett) Cross of 62 years; sons and daughters-in-law, Donald and Linda (Faxon) Cross of Ocklawah, FL, David and Jean (Ouellet) Cross of Fremont, NH, Cathy (Bevins) Cross of Joppa, MD; sisters, Pearl Thar of Florida, Ginger Wolak of Summerfield, FL, and Charlotte Barry of Hampstead, NH; brother-in-law and sister-in-law, Lorenzo and Bette Haggett of Summerfield, FL; several grandchildren, great-grandchildren and 2 great-great-grandchildren.
