    Derry, NH — Norma I. McFague, 90, of Derry, N.H., passed away Monday, July 15, 2013, at Parkland Medical Center, Derry following a brief illness. She was born on May 18, 1923, in Lowell, Mass., a daughter of the late Albert and Agnes (Faulds) Snow. She was also the wife of Francis X. McFague.

    Methuen, MA — Our beautiful mother, Pauline, passed away on Thursday, July 18, 2013, at the age of 90 in Tacoma, Wash. She passed away peacefully, surrounded by her family. Pauline was born on January 17, 1923, and resided in Lawrence and Methuen, Mass.

  • William G. Kimball, 72

    Derry, NH — William G. Kimball, 72, of Derry, N.H., died July 21, 2013, at his son’s home in Manchester, N.H. Mr. Kimball was born in Beverly, Mass., on January 24, 1941, a son of the late William J. and Edna (Healey) Kimball. Bill lived in Derry and Londonderry for most of his life. He was a 1959 graduate of Pinkerton Academy in Derry and later graduated from NH Tech. He served with the US Navy aboard the USS Gearing. Bill was employed for 35 years as a fitter/welder for Process Engineering, Inc. in Plaistow, N.H., which later became Chart Industries. He was an avid golfer and gardener. Bill was a good husband, father and grandfather, and had a great sense of humor.

  • Lynn Gerrish Moquin, 56

    Derry, NH — Lynn G. Moquin, 56, of Derry, N.H., died at Brigham and Women’s Hospital on July 10, 2013, surrounded by her husband and two children. She was born May 19, 1957, in North Kingstown, R.I., to Scott and the late Marion (White) Gerrish. Lynn grew up in Derry, graduating from Pinkerton Academy in 1975. She received her Bachelor’s Degree from Lesley College, Cambridge, Mass., and her Master’s Degree in Learning Disabilities from Rivier College, Nashua, N.H. With four teaching certificates and more than 28 years of teaching experience between Raymond, Pinkerton Academy and Hampstead Middle School, she was thoroughly enjoying her latest position as a Reading Specialist.

  • Arthur J. Desmarais, 83

    Derry, NH — Arthur J. Desmarais, 83, of Derry, N.H., passed away Friday, July 5, 2013, at his home surrounded by his loving family. He was born on May 27, 1930, in Lowell, Mass., a son of the late Joseph A. and Grace (Coakley) Desmarais. Prior to moving to Derry one year ago, Mr. Desmarais was a resident of Londonderry since 1964, formerly living in Lowell, Mass. Arthur proudly served his country in the U.S. Army during the Korean Conflict. He was employed as a packaging engineer for Raytheon Corp., retiring in 1993 after 35 years. As an engineer, he worked on the HAWK and PATRIOT missiles. He was a communicant of St. Jude Parish in Londonderry, where he was also a member of the Knights of Columbus. Mr. Desmarais served as an auditor for the Town of Londonderry during the 1970s.

    Derry, NH — Eileen T. Bono, 88, of Derry, N.H., died July 2 in Parkland Medical Center, Derry. Mrs. Bono was born in Medford, Mass., on April 21, 1925, and was a daughter of the late Angelo and Angelina (Piccolo) Volpe. She had resided in Derry since December 2012, formerly living in Andover, Mass., for many years.

    Atlanta, GA — Erin B. Robbins, 30, of Derry, N.H., unexpectedly passed away in her sleep on June 6, 2013. She was born in Medford, Mass., on December 14, 1982, the daughter of Maryrose Dorazio and Patrick Robbins. She moved to Derry, N.H., in 1986 and attended Pinkerton Academy. Later in life she earned a certificate in Massage Therapy. Erin was compassionate; she loved people and animals. She also enjoyed painting and music.

  • Samuel Stevens Gray, 65

    Derry, NH — Samuel Stevens Gray, 65, died of cancer on July 4, 2013, at his home on Beaver Lake in Derry. Mr. Gray was born on December 29, 1947, in Derry to William and Leona Gray. He was a 1966 graduate of Pinkerton Academy. Shortly after graduation, he joined the United States Marine Corps. He served a tour of duty in Da Nang during the Vietnam War, was on a United Nations peacekeeping mission outside of Lebanon, and was honorably discharged as an E5 Sergeant in 1971. After his military service, he attended the Emery School of Shorthand Reporting in Boston and became a court reporter for the State of New Hampshire Legislature. For over 25 years, he was the owner of Samuel Gray Court Reporting Services. After his retirement, he worked part-time at Verizon Wireless Arena.

    Plainville, CT — Phyllis A. Wells, 83, of Plainville, Conn., died Monday, July 1, 2013, in the Touch Points at Farmington in Farmington, Conn. She was born in Cambridge, Mass., on August 30, 1929, a daughter of the late Daniel Delaney and Mary O'Neill Delaney. She had been a resident of Plainville since 2006, formerly living in Derry, N.H., and Londonderry, N.H., for most of her life.

She was born to the late Emil and Elizabeth Anna Isele on May 21, 1933, in Marburg, Germany, and immigrated to the United States in October of 1951.

    Derry, NH — Charles "Chuck" Buzzell, 65, died Saturday, June 22, at his home. He was born in Haverhill, Mass., on May 4, 1948, and was the son of Charles and Rita (Fantini) Buzzell. He was educated in the Haverhill schools, and attended Lowell State University. He was a former member of the board of directors of the Haverhill Boys and Girls Club, and former president of the Service Council of Volkswagon of America. Chuck played bass guitar and was a member of several bands including "The Herd," "Family Affair" and "Summer of 67." He was the service manager at Seacoast Volkswagen in Greenfield, N.H.

    Westfield, MA — Jacqueline J. Pressey, 80, of Larchley Avenue, Westfield, Mass., passed away peacefully Friday, Feb. 15, 2013, at the Noble Hospital. She was born in Lawrence, Mass., Aug. 31, 1932, the daughter of the late H. Lloyd and Helen (Joy) Hepworth. She moved to Derry, N.H., where she was a graduate of Pinkerton Academy, later in life, earning her degree in teaching at Westfield State College. Jackie was employed as a high school teacher in the Agawam School system for over 20 years, retiring in 2000, and had also worked as a driving instructor for the Elm Auto School in Westfield. Jacqueline was a member of the Church of the Atonement Episcopal Church in Westfield. She was a past member of the Westfield School Committee and a longtime member of the Mass. Teachers Association.

    Derry, NH — Georgiene "Mae" Inglis, 83, of Derry, N.H., passed away peacefully on Thursday, June 6, 2013, in her home surrounded by her loving children. She was born on March 22, 1930, in Boston, Mass., the only child of George and Mary (MacIntyre) MacFarlane. Mrs. Inglis was a resident of Derry for more than 45 years, and many may remember her smiling face in the Pinkerton Academy cafeteria or at the Old Colony gas station on Crystal Avenue. She loved to travel and would go anywhere and everywhere! She also enjoyed her garden, her hot air balloon rides, her trips to River John and Dartmouth/Halifax, Nova Scotia, but most of all, she adored her family and dear friends above all.

  • Raymond Paquin, 90

    Derry, NH — Raymond Paquin, 90, of Derry, N.H., died Saturday, June 8, 2013, in the Parkland Medical Center in Derry. He was born in Derry on April 15, 1923, a son of the late Ephrem J. and Exilda (Baron) Paquin, and had been a lifelong resident. Mr. Paquin was a U.S. Army WWII veteran and a member of the D.A.V. Chapter #1 in Manchester. He was a member of the Carpenters Local Union #1688 and #625 of Manchester, and had been employed by Hermsdorf Fixtures in Manchester for 35 years. Mr. Paquin was a lifelong member of St. Thomas Aquinas Church in Derry.
