Derry, NH — Ethel L. Cole, 74, of Derry, NH, died Friday, November 22, 2013, in the Parkland Medical Center in Derry. She was born in Dover Foxcroft, ME on April 19, 1939, a daughter of the late Ernest and Arlene (Dority) Fairbrother. Ethel had been a resident of Derry for the past 48 years, formerly living in Levant, ME. She had been employed in the cafeteria at Pinkerton Academy in Derry for over 15 years. Ethel enjoyed sewing, reading, ceramics and knitting.
She is survived by two daughters, Elizabeth Bridge and her husband, Tim, and Amelia Cole, all of Derry; two sons, Charles Cole and his wife, Helen, of Hillsborough, NH, and David Cole and his wife, Judy, of Salisbury, NH; eight grandchildren; eight great-grandchildren; two sisters, Debbie Taggette of St. Francis, ME, and Ann Sawyer of Susquehanna, PA; one brother, Ernest Fairbrother of Bradford, ME; as well as several nieces, nephews and cousins. She was predeceased by her husband, Robert Cole in 2010 and her sister, Mary Fairbrother.
ARRANGEMENTS: There are no calling hours. Following cremation, a memorial service will be held at a later date.
