Newmarket, N.H. — Marjan Cuypers, 69, of Newmarket, N.H., died Saturday, October 13 at Portsmouth Regional Hospital, surrounded by her loving family. She was born on March 21, 1943 in Stevensweert, Netherlands, a daughter of Maria (Boers) Cuijpers and the late Joseph Cuijpers . Marjan had a real green thumb and loved tending to all her plants. She also enjoyed painting. Oma, as she was known to her grandchildren, was a strong dutch woman with a wonderful soul and sense of style who could really deck out a room. But what brought her the greatest joy was the time spent with her family.
In addition to her mother of the Netherlands, she is also survived by one daughter, Candace Frizzell and her husband Douglas of Eliot, Maine; four grandchildren, Matthew and Larissa Frizzell of Eliot, Maine, Ryan and Aleana Haselton of New Hampshire; two brothers, Rob Cuijpers and Ton Cuijpers; two sisters, Martha Turlings, and Chris Cuijpers, all of the Netherlands. She was predeceased by two daughters, Sheila Gradzewicz and Yvonne Haselton.
ARRANGEMENTS: There are no calling hours. Following cremation, memorial services will be held by the family at a later date.
