LONDONDERRY — Stella (Ziakas) Jackson, 89, a longtime resident of Londonderry, passed away on April 29, 2013.
Mrs. Jackson was born August 1, 1923, in Manchester, one of 12 children of John and Maria (Xyla) Ziakas. Prior to retirement, Mrs. Jackson was employed with Klev-Bro Shoe Company of Derry for 40 years.
Mrs. Jackson enjoyed gardening and was well-known for her baking and cooking talents; however, her family was the center of her life.
She was predeceased by her husband of 67 years, James E. Jackson.
Her family includes three daughters, Joanne Hanninen and her late husband, Al, Joy Paquin and her husband, Richard, and Jill Skilling and her husband, Bruce; four grandchildren, Ethan Paquin and his wife, Kelley, Nathan Paquin and his wife, Jessica, and Sarah Skilling and Taylor Skilling; six great-grandchildren, Ashton Paquin, Samuel Paquin, Zoe Paquin, Elise Paquin, Maria Paquin and Lilah Paquin; as well as many nieces, nephews and cousins.
ARRANGEMENTS: A graveside service will be conducted on Friday at 2 p.m. at NH Veterans Cemetery in Boscawen.
