Derry, NH — William G. Kimball, 72, of Derry, N.H., died July 21, 2013, at his son’s home in Manchester, N.H. Mr. Kimball was born in Beverly, Mass., on January 24, 1941, a son of the late William J. and Edna (Healey) Kimball. Bill lived in Derry and Londonderry for most of his life. He was a 1959 graduate of Pinkerton Academy in Derry and later graduated from NH Tech. He served with the US Navy aboard the USS Gearing. Bill was employed for 35 years as a fitter/welder for Process Engineering, Inc. in Plaistow, N.H., which later became Chart Industries. He was an avid golfer and gardener. Bill was a good husband, father and grandfather, and had a great sense of humor.
He is survived by his wife of 50 years, Eleanor “Ellie” Kimball of Derry; one son, Jeffrey W. Kimball and his wife, Wanda, of Manchester; one grandson, Ethan W. Kimball of Manchester; and several nieces and nephews. He was predeceased by his sister, Marilyn Provencher.
ARRANGEMENTS: Following cremation, calling hours will be held on Thursday July 25, 2013, from 4 to 7 p.m. in the Peabody Funeral Homes and Crematorium, 15 Birch St., Derry.
