Port Huron, Michigan — Charles Corydon Tenney, 93, of Marysville, died Monday, January 7, 2013.
He was born January 5, 1920 in Chester, New Hampshire, to the late Walter and Myrtle Tenney. He married Marion Kimball on May 22, 1938 in Vermont. She died in 1997.
Mr. Tenney owned Wilton Floors. He was a member of Living Stone Communities. Charles became a semi-pro baseball player at the age of 16, was an avid reader, traveler, and carpenter who could build or make anything.
He is survived by his daughter, Alice Mendenhall of Marysville; his son, Charles S. (Violet) Tenney of Bow, New Hampshire; six grandchildren; and several great grandchildren and great great grandchildren.
ARRANGEMENTS: A memorial service will be held at 4 p.m. on Saturday, February 2, 2013 in Pollock-Randall Funeral Home with visitation beginning at 3 p.m. Pastor Chris Wiegand will officiate.
Burial will be in Forest Hill Cemetery in East Derry, New Hampshire this summer.
