Cross Junction, VA — Harriet Isabelle Hussey Imlay, 96, passed away peacefully at 2:30 p.m., April 13, 2014 in Cross Junction, Va. She was born December 1, 1917, in Londonderry, N.H. to Edward H. and Mary I. (Bailey) Hussey. She was married to Frederick H. Imlay for 73 years, until he passed away at 101 on Jan. 26, 2010. They lived in Hampton, Va. and Bethesda, Md. until 2010, when Harriet moved to Cross Junction, to be close to her daughter.
She is survived by son, Kenneth W. Imlay and Phyllis Cochran of Jay, Maine; two daughters, Judith and Blane Cox of Cross Junction, Va. and Barbara and David Quent of Wooster, Ohio, and their families; and two nephews, Ed and Barbara Perrault of Newton, N.H. and Ed Hussey of Wilton, N.H.
ARRANGEMENTS: A graveside committal will be held Saturday, May 31, 2014 at 10 a.m., at the Glenwood Cemetery, Mammoth Road, Londonderry, N.H. A Harriet Imlay Celebration will be open to family and friends from 1 to 5 p.m., at the Granite Room of the Manchester, N.H. Best Western Plus, 13500 South Willow St., 03103.
