Derry, NH — Charles "Chuck" Buzzell, 65, died Saturday, June 22, at his home. He was born in Haverhill, Mass., on May 4, 1948, and was the son of Charles and Rita (Fantini) Buzzell. He was educated in the Haverhill schools, and attended Lowell State University. He was a former member of the board of directors of the Haverhill Boys and Girls Club, and former president of the Service Council of Volkswagon of America. Chuck played bass guitar and was a member of several bands including "The Herd," "Family Affair" and "Summer of 67." He was the service manager at Seacoast Volkswagen in Greenfield, N.H.
He is survived by his wife, Susan (Mills) Buzzell of Derry; his sister, Janice Sacoco and her husband, Joseph of Haverhill; brother, John Buzzell of Haverhill; and several nieces, nephews, cousins, and dear friends.
ARRANGEMENTS: His funeral was held Wednesday, June 26, beginning at 9 a.m., from the Paul C. Rogers Family-Scatamacchia Funeral Home, 334 Main St., with services at 10 a.m. Burial will be in St. Patrick's Cemetery. Visiting hours were held Tuesday, from 3 to 8 p.m., at the funeral home.
