New Milford, CT — Rosemarie Elizabeth Weber, 79, of Derry, N.H., passed away peacefully on January 24, at the Candlewood Valley Health and Rehab Center in New Milford, Conn. She was born to the late Emil and Elizabeth Anna Isele on May 21, 1933, in Marburg, Germany, and immigrated to the United States in October of 1951.
Rosemarie graduated from high school in post-World War II Germany, and obtained her LPN nursing certificate in 1975. She worked as a nurse at St. Joseph's Hospital in Nashua, N.H., for many years before retiring in 1998. Rose was predeceased by her husband, Gerhard, and her twin brothers, Wilfred and Dieter. She is survived by her sons, Mark Weber, Esq. of Sherman, Conn., and Michael Weber, Ph.D. of Laie, Hawaii; grandchildren, Bryan of Sherman, Conn., (now deceased), Steven of Sherman, Lisa of Los Angeles, Joshua of Honolulu, Hawaii, and Matthew of Laie, Hawaii; and one great-grandson, Koen.
ARRANGEMENTS: A memorial service will be held on Thursday, July 11, from 2 to 3 p.m. at The Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints, 50 Adams Pond Road, Derry, NH. A graveside service will follow at the Forest Hill Cemetery.
