Salem, NH — The Reverend Mr. William Glenn Morrill, 77, of Salem, died Tuesday, June 11, 2013, surrounded by his loving family at the Community Hospice House of Merrimack. Rev. Morrill was a son of the late Arthur L. and Irene (Eddy) Morrill. He was raised and educated in Derry and was a 1955 graduate of Pinkerton Academy.
Rev. Morrill served in the U.S. Navy as a Boswains Mate on the USS Boston during the Korean War. He was employed as an Operating Engineer with Operator Union Local 4 of Boston. He had previously served as a Police Officer in the Town of Derry and as Police Chief of Chester, N.H. in the 1970s. He was also an ordained Anglican Minister, who founded and built St. Luke’s Church of Amherst.
