Evelyn ”Evy” Laura King, formerly of Londonderry NH passed away at age 99 on May 3rd at the Pleasant Valley Nursing Center in Derry NH. She was born October 31st 1912 in Chester NH, the daughter of Everett and Florence Healey.
Her greatest joy was having her family around her. She is known for her delicious pastries that she loved to share with everyone. She loved spending time with her friends at Nutfield Heights in Derry and volunteering at Rockingham County Nutrition Program before moving to Pleasant Valley.
She will be deeply missed by everyone who was blessed to have been a part of her life.
She is survived by four children, Clifton, Arnold, Everett Rand and Eunice Williams, also four brothers Russell, Kenneth, Lloyd and Richard Healey.
She also leaves behind eight grandchildren, Robert Rand, James Rand, John Rand, Leah Thomas, Bill Williams, Terry Gonnion, Jim Williams, and Dee Williams, as well as, her great grandchildren Kara, Kaylin, Brian, Michael, Sebastian, Anakin and Mackenzie and several nieces and nephews and three great- great grandchildren.
In addition to her parents, she was predeceased by her husband Harland, brother Charles, three sisters, Marie, Lillian, and Betty, grandchild, Douglas and great grandchild, Connor.
Her family would like to thank the staff at Pleasant Valley and Compassionate Care Hospice for all their love and care in becoming her extended family.
ARRANGEMENTS: Following cremation, a memorial gathering is planned for Sunday May 20th from 10:00am to 4:00pm at her daughter’s home, 9 Reo Lane Londonderry NH 03053. All who knew her are welcome to join her family in celebrating her life.
