Londonderry, NH — Irma M. (Basile) (Sassone) Buck, 99, died on Wednesday, June 27, 2012 at her home, surrounded by her family.
Born in Lynn, MA, daughter of the late Antonio and Pauline (Porrecca) Basile, she attended Lynn schools. A former resident of Lynnfield and Peabody, Massachusetts she lived in Newton, NH for several years before moving to Londonderry in 2000.
Mrs. Buck worked for Union Hospital of Lynn as an aid for ten years and later at General Electric Co. as a motor assembler for ten years until her retirement.
Mrs. Buck attended the Calvary Bible Church in Derry and she enjoyed cooking and traveling. She also had a great appreciation for music and enjoyed singing and knew the words and melodies of most of the old tunes from her childhood and younger years.
The last surviving member of a family of six children, she was predeceased by her two husbands Paul Sassone and Stanley Buck. Survivors include two daughters Jeanne Radar and her husband Scott of Londonderry with whom she lived and Bonita Jardinico of Manchester; two grandchildren Kristine Posey and Andrew Radar; one great granddaughter Madison Radar; and two nieces, Toni Dunn of Peabody and Pauline Lynch of Lynn.
ARRANGEMENTS: Relatives and friends are invited to attend a memorial service on Saturday, July 14, 2012 at 10:00 a.m. at Calvary Bible Church, 145 East Hampstead Road, Derry, New Hampshire. A private family burial service will be at a later date.
