Derry, NH — Victor Gallucci, Jr., 74, of Derry, NH, passed Saturday, March 15, 2014, at his residence after a lengthy illness. He was born May 12, 1939, in Boston, MA, and was a son of the late Victor, Sr. and Philomena (Cardinelli) Gallucci. Mr. Gallucci was raised and educated in East Boston and had resided in Derry for the past 40 years. Mr. Gallucci served in the U.S. Army and Massachusetts Army National Guard from 1960 to 1964, during the Vietnam era. He was employed for most of his working life as a cabinet maker with Plasto Manufacturing. He enjoyed horse racing and cherished his family and friends.
Members of the family include his wife of 50 years, Ann (Rella) Gallucci of Derry; his son and daughter-in-law, Victor Gallucci, III and Shannon Nault; and his brother, Richard Gallucci of Tewksbury, MA; as well as many nieces, nephews and great-nieces and nephews. He was predeceased by a brother, Joseph Gallucci.
ARRANGEMENTS: Calling hours were held Tuesday, March 18, 2014, from 4 to 8 p.m. at the Peabody Funeral Homes and Crematorium, 15 Birch St., Derry, NH. A Liturgy of Christian Burial was celebrated Wednesday at 11 a.m. at St. Thomas Aquinas Parish, Crystal Ave., Derry and concluded with burial at Forest Hill Cemetery of East Derry.
