Derry, N.H. — Allen Wilson, 70, of Derry, passed away, Wednesday evening, November 28, surrounded by family, at Parkland Medical Center.
Al was born in Salem, N.H., to Vivian (Roy) Wilson and Arthur Wilson. He graduated from Salem High School and went on to join the Navy. Al was enjoying his retirement from driving for Aggregate Concrete, belonged to Teamsters Union Local #633 of New Hampshire and was a long standing member of the Halcyon Club. Al’s favorite charity was the American Red Cross. He felt it was important to give blood every year.
Al is survived by his sons, Daniel Sousa, Derry, Richard Sousa, Londonderry, Jamie Jobin, Pembroke; his daughters, Karen Soule, Jaffrey, Kimberly Taylor, Hill, Deanna Eaton, Weare; his sister, Arline Myette, Salem; two brothers, Frank Wilson, Sandown, Sonny Wilson, Silver Springs Fla.; several grandchildren and great-grandchildren. He is predeceased by his wife, Sheila Wilson; his brother, David Wilson, Salem; and sisters, Shirley Leary, Salem, Claire Holland, Salem.
Al looked forward to his daily trips to the dog park with Willie, Cash Money & Daisy and riding his Harley.
Al's generous nature & larger-than-life laugh endeared him to everyone he met. He was truly a man of many friends. He will be greatly missed.
