Sarah E. Coberth, 18, of Derry, N.H., died Monday, Aug. 16, 2010 at her home surrounded by her loving family and devoted friends.

She was born in Manchester, N.H., on March 18, 1992, the beloved daughter of David and Jennifer (Ohrn) Coberth. Sarah was a recent graduate of Pinkerton Academy in Derry and had been admitted to the University of San Diego intending to study biology in anticipation of pursuing her goal of becoming a doctor. She was extraordinary in her strength, courage, and was an inspiration to all throughout her two year battle with cancer. She approached her treatment with an intelligence and tenacity that belied her years. Her beauty, joy for life, and her sparkling wit made her beloved to all who knew her.

She is survived by her loving parents, David and Jennifer (Ohrn) Coberth of Derry; her grandmothers, Joan Ohrn of Cape Cod and Kay Coberth of Derry; her aunts and uncles, Judy and Eric Hicks of California, Roxanne and Jim O'Donoghue of Portsmouth, N.H., Gretchen Gustin and Nathan Howe of Westborough, Mass., Marjorie McNamara, Christopher Ohrn, and Michael Ohrn, all of Cape Cod, and Steve and Cindi Hoyt of California. She is also survived by her loving cousins, Katie, Devon, Nick, Philip, Drew, Greg, Tess, Keely, Connor, Olivia and Julia. Sarah's parents would also like to recognize her loving and devoted friends who were constantly by her side.

ARRANGEMENTS: A celebration of Sarah's life will be held this week with details to follow from the family. Sarah's family would like to express their gratitude to the doctors and nurses at Children's Hospital and the Dana Farber Jimmy Fund Clinic and ask that donations in Sarah's honor to be made to the Dana Farber Jimmy Fund for pediatric cancer at www.jimmyfund.org be considered in lieu of flowers. Sarah, her mom and her dad wish to thank everyone who walked this path with them and who continued to Keep the Faith. Amy E. Hills, 91, died on Friday, February 3, 2012, at Fairview Nursing Home in Hudson.

She was born in Nashua, NH on July 19, 1920, a daughter of the late Waylan and Nettie (Smith) Elwood. She was the wife of the late Richard Hills.

Homer L. Brewer, Londonderry, passed away peacefully at his home on February 6, 2012 with his family by his side.

He was born in Manchester on February 23, 1925, the son of Homer L. and Gladys (Hadley) Brewer. He graduated from Manchester West High School. Upon graduation in 1943 Homer entered the U S Army; serving during World War II he earned the rank of Staff Sergeant before receiving his honorable discharge in 1946.

Jason Brown, 37, formally of Hampstead, N.H., passed away on January 25th at Parkland Medical Center after a brief heart ailment.

Jason lived and worked in Derry. He was predeceased by his mother Margaret Brown. He is survived by his father Donald Brown and stepmother Jacqueline Brown of Chester, N.H., brother Jonathan Brown, stepsister, Jessica Replogle and stepbrothers Aaron and Joshua Sakash and his very best friend D.J. Minor of Hampstead, N.H.

DERRY, N.H. — Edith R. Raymond, 91, of Derry, NH died Monday January 23, 2012 in the Fairview Nursing Home in Hudson, NH.
Mrs. Raymond was born in Boston, MA on October 9, 1920, a daughter of the late Charles H. and Sylvia (Cushman) Pike. While living in MA, she had been employed by New England Art of Abington, and Bostonian Shoe Company of Whitman. After moving to Derry in 1977, she worked for Hadco and Treasure Masters of Derry, served as President of Londonderry Senior Citizens, and Nutfield Heights Association. Edith was also a long time member of Londonderry United Methodist Church.

LONDONDERRY, N.H. — Salvatore A. Biondo, 86, of Londonderry, NH, died Tuesday, January 17, 2012 in the Bedford Hills Care and Rehabilitation Center in Bedford, NH.
Mr. Biondo was born in Boston, MA on August 3, 1925, a son of the late Andrew and Angelina (Mascheri) Biondo. He was a resident of Londonderry since 2004, formerly living in Methuen, MA and Somerville, MA. Mr. Biondo was a disabled U.S. Navy veteran of WWII. He fought the Japanese in the South Pacific aboard the USS Monitor LSV5 and was in the biggest naval battle against the Japanese in Leyte Gulf in the Philippines.

Jeep was born November 21, 1940 in Nashua son of the late Harold and Gladys (King) Holt. He was also predeceased by a brother Ralph Holt and a sister Bernice "Bunny" Boilard. Jeep was the husband of Jane (Lamprey) Holt of Derry.

George R. Mauzy, Sr., 81, of Derry, NH died Thursday, December 29, 2011 at the Elliot Hospital, Manchester, NH.
Mr. Mauzy was born in Marine City, MI on September 12, 1930, a son of the late Henry S. and Thelma E. (Smith) Mauzy. He was a lifelong Derry resident and a 1948 graduate of Pinkerton Academy. While at Pinkerton Academy he played on All Star and Championship football and basketball teams and was voted by his classmates to be the best school athlete and most popular student. He had worked for NH Egg Producers in Derry and for Sanders Associates of Nashua. He retired in 1989 from Kolsman Corp. in Merrimack, NH. Mr. Mauzy was also a member of St. Mark's Masonic Lodge #44 F & AM of Derry.

DERRY, N.H. — Jane E. Lamoly, 74, of Derry, NH died Wednesday, December 28, 2011 at the Pleasant Valley Nursing Home, Derry, following a courageous battle with cancer.
She was born on February 20, 1937 in Boston, MA and was a resident of Derry for 11 years, formerly living in Methuen, MA. Ms. Lamoly was one of 15 children, six sons and nine daughters, born to the late Jacob and Abigail (Samuel) Anderson. She was employed as a crew member at Dunkin Donuts for many years. Jane loved to cook, as well as entertain family and friends. It was her goal in life to feed everyone and make sure no person or animal went hungry.

Mrs. Stevenson was born in Holyoke, MA on September 26, 1915, a daughter of the late Alexander and Olivine (Bousquet) Rozell. She had resided in Derry since 1975, formerly living in Chicopee, MA. She was a member of the Order of the Eastern Star Chapter 51 in Holyoke. She enjoyed spending time with friends and playing bingo.

Nancy P. Cobban, 76

DERRY, N.H. — Nancy P. Cobban, 76, died peacefully at her home in Derry, NH on Thursday, December 22, 2011, surrounded by family, following a long illness.
She was born July 12, 1935 in Portland, Oregon to Marion Grace (Ellsworth) Pennington and Charles William Pennington. Nancy's lifelong love of language and learning led to her studies at Mount Holyoke College from which she graduated summa cum laude in May of 1957 with a degree in English Literature and Composition. In June of 1957 she married, Robert F. Cobban with whom she shared 51 wonderful years. Nancy, her husband, and their three children settled in Derry, NH in 1971. There, Nancy began her professional career in earnest.
