Manchester, NH — Virginia M. Fuccillo, 90, of Manchester, NH, died Sunday, January 19, 2014, in Mapleleaf Healthcare in Manchester. She was born in Tennessee on August 17, 1923, a daughter of the late William and Louise (Coffey) Matthews. She loved playing Bingo, doing crossword puzzles, and crocheting. Virginia enjoyed browsing at flea markets and antique shops, especially for other people. She always looked to find a piece to complete someone's collection or to find their favorite "goody," and in doing so, she received great joy and satisfaction.
She is survived by two sons, Donald Fuccillo of Lowell, MA, and David Fuccillo of Windham, NH; six grandchildren, David A. Fuccillo, Joseph A. Fuccillo, Michael P. Palladino, Kristina M. Fuccillo, John Fuccillo and his wife, Stacey Fuccillo, and Melissa M. (Fuccillo) Hanlon; one great-granddaughter, Addyson Margaret Fuccillo; her sister, Mildred L. Silvers of Titusville, FL; and her brother, William Matthews, Jr. and his wife, Kitty, of Lantana, FL; as well as several nieces and nephews.
Calling hours will be held on Thursday, January 23, 2014, from 5 to 7 p.m. in the Peabody Funeral Homes and Crematorium, 15 Birch St., Derry, NH. Funeral services will be held on Friday, at 10 a.m. in the funeral home. The burial will follow in the Holy Cross Cemetery in Malden, MA.
