Salem, NH — Richard B. Manton, 81, of Salem, NH died Monday, August 6th at Parkland Medical Center in Derry, NH. Richard was born in Dover, NH and grew up in Durham, NH, the son of the late Ruth (Ould) and Robert Manton. He graduated from Dover High School and he received his Bachelor’s Degree in Electrical Engineering from UNH. He served in the US Army. Richard retired from Raytheon in Andover, MA. He enjoyed spending time at the lake with his family, boating, fishing, sailing and water skiing. He loved being with his grandchildren. He was predeceased by his brother Robert Manton, Jr. Richard is survived by his wife of 57 years, Jean (Ewen) Manton of Salem; two daughters, Dianne Paquette and husband Joseph of Salem, NH, Katherine Kennedy and husband Mark of Derry, NH; five grandchildren Jeffrey and Justin Paquette, Andrew, Eric and Jonathan Kennedy; sister-in-law Marilyn Manton of Texas and two nephews, Robert and Jimmy Manton
