Derry, NH — Joseph A. Moulaison of Derry, N.H., passed away on Saturday, March 23, at Parkland Medical Center at age 93. He was the beloved husband of Grace (Dodge) Moulaison, with whom he shared 54 years of marriage.
Born in Yarmouth, Nova Scotia, and raised in Malden, MA, he was the son of the late Simon P. and Dauphine (Muise) Moulaison. He attended Malden Schools and entered the U.S. Army, serving his Country during World War II. Following the war he began his career as a finish carpenter and was a member of the Carpenters Union Local 51 for 55 years.
In 1971 he moved from Malden and built a house in Derry, N.H. He was a member of the American Legion Lester W. Chase Post 9. He had a passion for music and animals and had been a guitar player for many years.
In addition to his wife Grace, he leaves his daughter Candace Doherty and her husband John of Charlestown, MA; his stepdaughters Rosemarie Mazzola and her husband Angelo of Medford, MA; Linda O'Leary and her late husband Daniel of Malden, MA; Diane Caci of Melrose, MA; and stepson the late Anthony Zammuto. He is also survived by 12 grandchildren and six great grandchildren. He was predeceased by 10 sisters and two brothers.
ARRANGEMENTS: Funeral services were held on March 27 at Leo M. Norton Funeral Home in Malden, MA, followed by burial at Forest Hill Cemetery in Derry, N.H.
