Derry, NH — Scott Patrick Sullivan, 46, of Derry, N.H., passed away on Saturday, March 1, 2014, at Merrimack Valley Hospice House of Haverhill, Mass., after a lengthy illness. He was born in Waltham, Mass., on April 14, 1967, and was a son of Richard Sullivan and the late Patricia (Van Wagoner) Donahue. He was raised and educated in Andover, Mass., and had been a resident of Derry for over 17 years.
Scott was a general sales manager at Toy Store Auto Sales of Salem, N.H., and had previously been with Auto Exchange. Scott was the proud father of four wrestling boys, and was a former Derry Rebels coach. He loved attending his daughter’s dance recitals. He also enjoyed boating and fishing, and spending his summers at Lake Winnipesaukee. He was an avid golfer and a former member of Hoodkroft Country Club of Derry. Scott will forever be remembered as a loving husband, father, grandfather, and son.
Members of family include his wife of 17 years, Mary C. (Flynn) Sullivan of Derry; his father, Richard Sullivan of West Palm Beach, Fla.; five children, Eric Sullivan of Manchester, Steven Sullivan and his wife, Michelle, of Derry, and Jeffrey, Brenden and Madison Sullivan, all of Derry; two grandchildren, Kalib Sullivan and Alex Galyston; a brother and his wife, Sean and Jill Sullivan of West Palm Beach; Sean’s ex-wife, Michelle of Florida; Scott’s ex-stepmother, Angela Sullivan, and her children, Stephanie and Evan; and several nieces, nephews and cousins. He was predeceased by his son, Kevin Sullivan in 1987; and by his mother, in 2012.
ARRANGEMENTS: Calling hours will be held on Wednesday, March 5, from 4 to 8 p.m., at the Peabody Funeral Homes and Crematorium, 15 Birch Street, Derry. A funeral service will be held on Thursday, at 10 a.m., in the funeral home, and will conclude with burial at Pine Grove Cemetery of Manchester.
