Yoga offered for seniors
The Londonderry Senior Center offers yoga classes to the senior community. Lisa Kress and Barbara Scott offer an eight-week series of affordably priced yoga classes which are designed especially for seniors to help increase balance, flexibility and strength, as well as maintaining well-being. Sign up for either the Tuesday or Thursday class, or both. New session begins the week of June 25, 9 to 10 a.m. and classes are held at the Londonderry Senior Center, 535 Mammoth Road.
Registration is underway and there are limited spots open for both days. Payment is due at the time of registration in order to hold your spot in the class. For more details call the Senior Center at 432-8554.
Relay for Life set
The Greater Derry Londonderry Relay for Life is set for Saturday, June 23, noon to 10 p.m. at the Pinkerton Academy track in Derry. Teams will walk the track to honor those battling cancer, or those who lost the battle. A Survivors Lap and various other themed activities will take place. Anyone wanting to learn more about starting a team or to volunteer can visit relayforlife.org of visit the group on Facebook.
Road construction announced
Londonderry has announced its schedule for spring/summer road construction locations. The following areas will be on the list for paving this season: Hovey Road from Wedgewood Drive to Pillsbury Cemetery; Berkshire Lane from Currier Drive to Wilshire Drive; Pillsbury Road from Hardy Road to Mammoth Road; Pillsbury Road from Mammoth Road to High Range Road; Sherwood Road from Hearthstone Drive to Hearthstone Drive; Wiley Hill Road from High Range Road to Colonial Drive.

Concerts on the Common

Fun Runs begin June 25
The Greater Derry Track Club once again hosts the annual Summer Fun Runs for kids, this year at Londonderry High School.
The program is in its 43rd year and is held Mondays beginning June 25. Signups are at 6 p.m. with races to start at 6:30 p.m.

Londonderry Voter Information
The Supervisors of the Voter Checklist will meet at the Town Clerk’s office on July 18, 6 to 7 p.m. to correct the checklist and register voters. To register to vote, one must provide: proof of Londonderry residency, proof of citizenship (passport, birth certificate, naturalization papers), photo ID.
Applicants for registration who possess proof of identity, age, citizenship, and domicile should bring that proof when they come to register. Qualified applicants who do not possess proof or who do not bring proof with them may register if they sign an affidavit attesting to their qualifications for identity, age, and citizenship. More than 30 days before an election, applicants without proof of domicile will be asked to retrieve proof and return to register. Within 30 days of an election and on Election Day, applicants without proof of domicile with them may register to vote if they sign an affidavit attesting to their domicile and either agreeing to bring or send in proof or attesting that they are not aware of possessing proof of domicile.
