LONDONDERRY — Twenty candidates are running for nine House seats representing Rockingham County District 3, covering Londonderry and Auburn.
Seeking re-election for state representative are Republicans Clinton Bailey, Al Baldasaro, Robert Introne, Karen Keegan-Hutchinson, Betsy McKinney and Sherman Packard, all of Londonderry, and James Headd of Auburn.
Challenging them, all from Londonderry, are Democrats Jerry Conner, David Howard, Ralph Gangregorio, Frances Gehling, Kevin Kennedy, Sean Marden and Lisa Whittemore, and Republicans David Lundgren, Neil Robinson and Dan Tamburello. Republicans Sheila MacGilvary, Mark LaFlamme and Stella Tremblay of Auburn are also running.
Sen. Sharon Carson, R-Londonderry, is running for re-election and is being challenged by Democrat Tammy Marie Siekmann.
The polls open at 7 a.m. on Tuesday, Sept. 14, at the Londonderry High School gymnasium, 295 Mammoth Road, and close at 8 p.m.
