LONDONDERRY — Peaches ruled at Mack's Apples over the weekend during the first Peach Festival.
The celebration was part of the state Department of Agriculture's Passport to Local Farms Tour.
There were peaches, of course, and also face-painting, music, a 5K race and lots of food.
Londonderry High's Marching Lancers served up pulled pork sandwiches and Mack's peach shortcake, which was a big hit with the crowd.
There also were words of wisdom and demonstrations on honey and maple syrup production.
