LONDONDERRY — Londonderry High School’s International Club took on the world.
The club hosted its second annual International Night event May 31 and hosted an evening of global cuisine, cultural dances and music, and many other world-inspired activities.
Club advisor is Betty Mak, also a special education teacher at the high school. She encourages students to embrace their diversity and different cultures.
The high school cafeteria was transformed into a world featuring more than 15 international booths offering tastes of France, China, Japan and Greece.
During International Night, a collection was taken to support the Makeover Ministry affiliated with Orchard Christian Fellowship Church in Londonderry. Money raised will to support refugee causes around the world.
