The sale will include baked goods and books.

All proceeds from the sale will support Michael’s Eagle Scout project, to build a handicapped-accessible garden at Moose Hill kindergarten.

Old Home Day needs help

The Old Home Day Committee seeks people to help organize the annual five-day celebration set for Aug. 14-17 this year.

Old Home Day includes a Senior Night, Kids’ Night, parade, booths and baby contest. The committee meets the third Thursday of the month.

The next meeting is set for march 21 at 7 p.m. at the town offices.

Democrats to elect new officers

Londonderry Democrats will elect officers at a caucus meeting at 7 p.m. March 27 at Milana Legal, 78 West Broadway, Derry.

The nominating committee announced the proposed slate of officers: Tammy Siekmann for chairperson, Nancy Hendricks for vice chairman, Lorralyn Jeurgens for secretary and Mary Tetreau for treasurer. Additional nominations for those positions may be made from the floor.

They will also elect delegates to the state convention.

“Our caucus provides a great opportunity for anyone who wants to be involved in the grassroots politics that makes New Hampshire special,” Siekmann said.
