Supervisors to meet
The Supervisors of the Checklist meet on March 2 at Town Hall from 10 a.m. to noon to correct the checklist and register new voters.
Proof of citizenship is required, along with a photo ID and proof of residency. This is the last day for anyone not previously registered to do so before the March 12 election.
The ‘magic’ of books
Leach Library hosts “The Magic of Books” on Feb. 25 from noon to 1 p.m. at the library.
This school vacation week event features magician Tommy James with his program teaching children the importance of reading and imagination.
Popular story books will come to life, including “The Velveteen Rabbit” and “The Secret Garden.”
Advance registration is required by calling the library at 437-1127.
MOMS Club of South Londonderry
The MOMS Club of South Londonderry meets several times a week for play dates and other activities and outings with children.
The group offers support for mothers who are staying home with their children during the day.
