---- — Patriots take on Londonderry staff

Members of the New England Patriots’ alumni organization will once again stop by Londonderry for a charity basketball game on Jan. 19 at 2 p.m.

The game is held at the Londonderry High School. Former Patriots will play members of the high school’s staff, including coaches.

Former Patriots expected to play include Patrick Pass and Ronnie Lippert. There will be a chance for autographs before and after the game.

Tickets are available at the door for a $10 donation; doors open at 1 p.m. The game is sponsored by the Londonderry High School Booster Club.

Relay for Life

gears up for 2013

The 2013 Relay For Life of Greater Derry and Londonderry will kick off the year with a “Night at the Movies” Tuesday, Jan. 8, at 6:30 p.m. at O’Neil Cinemas, 16 Orchard View Drive, Londonderry.

Hear about successes from last year’s event and some exciting things about this year’s Relay. Pick up a team leader kit, get fundraising ideas, see where the dollars you raise go and meet other team captains.

Start the new year off by dancing

On Friday, Jan. 11, from 8 to 11 p.m., there will be a New England Contra Dance at the Londonderry Senior Center/Mayflower Grange, 525 Mammoth Road.

Admission is $8 for adults, $5 for seniors, $3 for those age 12 and younger.
