Londonderry needs residents to fill board openings

LONDONDERRY — There is a job available for almost anyone who wants to get involved in the life of the community.

Londonderry has numerous openings on town boards and commissions.

Those openings have various term lengths, and are for both full-time and alternate positions.

The following positions are now open: Zoning Board, one alternate and one full-time position, three-year terms; Conservation Commission, three alternate positions for three-year terms; Elder Affairs Committee, one alternate three-year term; Heritage Commission, one alternate three-year term; International Exchange Committee, three full-time positions for three years; Londonderry Arts Council, two alternate Ad Hoc positions; Solid Waste and Environment, two alternate one-year positions and also one full-time for three years;

Anyone in town interested in becoming a member of any of these boards or committees can visit the town website at and look under “Town News” for further information on how to apply.

Applicants will be able to list specific information on the application, including employment and other skills or expertise, that might help in their choice of jobs.
