Choir practice scheduled
On Friday, Sept. 28, at Londonderry Presbyterian Church will hold a practice session for Mega Worship on Oct. 27.
From 7 to 9 p.m., residents are invited to the church on 126 Pillsbury Road for the first practice session. The event next month aims to bring together different faiths by having multiple choirs sing together.
Mega Worship will take place at First Baptist Church in Manchester on Oct. 27 from 4 to 6 p.m.

Public hearing on subdevelopments set
On Oct. 3 at 7 p.m. in the Moose Hill Council Chambers, there will be two public hearings about subdevelopments.
Michael McKeown, the applicant, will present a residential subdivision for two lots located on 7 Summer Drive.
The Nevins Retirement Cooperative Association will also have a formal review of their planned expansion of their 55-and-older subdevelopment on 7 Nevins Drive.
Musicians perform at Leach Library
On Oct. 11 at 7 p.m. at Leach Library, musicians Kristen and Dave will be preforming acoustic songs and covers.
The duo play a variety of instruments and play a variety of music styles as well.
The event is free and light refreshments will be served.

ALERT hosts open house
ALERT, a nonprofit volunteer emergency response team, is having an open house on Thursday, Oct. 18, from 7 to 9 p.m. at the Londonderry Police Department.
The group is looking for volunteers, who are willing to join the team, and are looking to train members. ALERT assists with search and rescue, emergency shelter operations, event control and emergency health clinics.

Library extends its hours
Leach Library has new hours. Earlier this month, the library announced its new hours, and is now open from 9 a.m. to 5 p.m. every Saturday, starting Oct 19. The previous hours were from 10 a.m. to 2 p.m.
