Lions host big yard sale May 11
Londonderry Lions host a yard sale on May 11 from 8 a.m. to 2 p.m. at the Lions Hall on Mammoth Road.
Donations are welcome through May 10. No large appliances, couches, air conditioners, computers or televisions can be accepted.

Aviation Museum hosts special event
The Aviation Museum of New Hampshire, 27 Navigator Road, hosts the New Hampshire Aviation Historical Society’s Bob Hough with “Flying the Idaho Back Country” on May 11 at 11 a.m. in the museum’s Devino Classroom.
The presentation includes a video tour of remote airstrips in the mountains of Idaho and also shows landings and take-offs to and from many places.
Seating is limited and is included in the price of admission to the museum.
Contra dance planned May 11
New England Contra Dance hosts a dance event on May 11 from 8 to 11 p.m. at the Londonderry Senior Center/Mayflower Granite, 525 Mammoth Road.

American Legion hosts meeting
American Legion Post 27, 6 Sargent Road, hosts its monthly meeting on May 13 at 7:30 p.m.
The post seeks new Legion members with appropriate military service dates, as well as men with fathers or grandfathers who are eligible for membership. Women are also invited to be members. Visit alpost27.com.
Apple Country Craft Fair set for May 18
St. Peter’s Episcopal Church hosts its annual outdoor Apple Country Craft Fair Spring Fling on May 18 from 9:30 a.m. to 4 p.m.
The area’s popular craft fair features more than 40 juried crafters from all over New England. Baked goods, grilled foods, coffee, lemonade and more are featured.
St. Peter’s is located on Mammoth Road at the corner of Peabody Row next door to Mack’s Apples. For information email firstname.lastname@example.org.
Critters are coming to the library May 13
Leach Library welcomes Mona Headen from Critters ‘N’ Creatures for a program May 13 from 4 to 5 p.m.
Headen will bring some of her animals, including an armadillo, gecko, tortoise and others. Register at the library’s Children’s Room or call 432-1127.
Tootsie Roll drive planned for May 19
St. Mark’s Knights of Columbus Council 10488 hosts the annual Tootsie Roll drive on May 19.
Knights will be out in force to give away Tootsie Rolls at various locations around Londonderry. Last year, the Knights collected more than $2,000 in donations.
Proceeds support Knights’ causes like education programs and Special Olympics.
