LONDONDERRY — Residents are invited to yet another public hearing about Woodmont Commons.
The Town Council will host a public hearing about the development near Pillsbury and Gilcreast Roads on Nov 5. at 7 p.m. in the Moose Hill Council Chambers.
The application was deemed complete by the town’s third-party review firm, Howard/Stein-Hudson, in October.
The Planning Board voted, 8-1, to accept the application after numerous delays.
While Ted Brovitz of Howard/Stein-Hudson recommended the application be accepted, he did note there were technical questions yet to be answered.
“We have had some discussions with town staff and the development team,” Brovitz said last week. “Things are progressing smoothly.”
Town officials are also dealing with the loss of Andre Garon, former Community Development director, who resigned in October.
Town planner Cynthia May has been handling some of Garon’s workload since his departure.
“It has become a bit more difficult,” she said. “There is only one of me.”
May said she has only received a few questions about the application so far, and will be sending them to Pillsbury Reality Development, the developers of Woodmont Commons as well as Howard/Stein-Hudson.
