LONDONDERRY — Members of the general public are invited to attend an informational, open forum meeting on Thursday, June 14, at 6:30 p.m. in the Moose Hill Conference Room at Town Hall, 268B Mammoth Road.

The meeting will focus on the planning and construction of Exit 4A off Interstate 93 and will cover the facts about the development of the exit, as well as give the public a chance to speak with representatives from the state and government.

Sen. Sharon Carson, R-Londonderry, and Sen. James Rausch, R-Derry, chairman of the Senate Transportation Committee, are expected to be in attendance during the meeting.

Others expected to participate include Rep. Sherman Packard, chairman of the House Transportation Committee; Jeff Brillhart, assistant commissioner of the state Department of Transportation; and David Preece, executive director for the Southern New Hampshire Planning Commission.

Attendees will be given opportunity to ask questions and view the current plans for the development of the highway exit.

Carson said she wants to inform the public about the plans and development of Exit 4A. She said there have been many recent concerns and questions circulating from her constituents.

The meeting is being sponsored by the Londonderry Commerce and Visitors Center. The mission of the CVC is to promote Londonderry and the region with the goal of desirable commercial and industrial development, while maintaining the agricultural and passive recreational core of the community.
