Memorial Day Mass planned at St. Jude
The Rev. Robert Couto of St. Jude Parish will offer a Memorial Day Mass at Holy Cross Cemetery on May 27 at 9 a.m.
Attendees are asked to bring folding chairs and bug spray.
In case of rain, Mass will be celebrated at St. Jude, 435 Mammoth Road.
Try your hand at Trivia Night June 1
The Derry Friendship Center hosts a Trivia Night on June 1 at Londonderry Presbyterian Church, 126 Pillsbury Road.
Doors open at 6:15 p.m. and the game starts at 7 p.m.
Tickets are $20 per person; the grand prize will be $300 for the winning table of six.
Pizza, popcorn, soda and water will be provided. All proceeds go to the Londonderry Presbyterian Church. For more information and tickets call 421-0255.

The Greater Derry Londonderry Chamber of Commerce hosts a “Taste of the Town” event on May 23 at 5:30 p.m. at the Aviation Museum of New Hampshire, 27 Nagivator Road.

Golf outing is planned for June 22
American Legion Post 27 hosts a golf event on June 22 at Londonderry Country Club.
The event will raise money to support the Legion baseball team. The day begins at 7 a.m. with a foursome scramble format.
The cost to play is $60 per player. Hole sponsorships are available for $50. Call 437-6613 for details.
Charter school information night set
A plan to bring a public charter school for middle through high school students may be in the works for Londonderry.
An information meeting is set for June 13 at 5 p.m. at Leach Library and features information on the proposed Founders Academy, a school that could open as early as this fall with private funding.
School founder and president Thomas Frischknecht will offer information on the school plan at the meeting. That will cover the curriculum plan, including studies in leadership, history debate, business and finance, and the standard core classes as well.
Legion hosts bingo at VA Hospital May 27
American Legion Post 27 hosts a bingo event at the Veterans Administration Hospital in Manchester on May 27 from 7 to 8:30 p.m.
