DOT 10-year planis the topic Sept. 12
The New Hampshire Department of Transportation hosts a meeting Sept. 12 at the Moose Hill Council Chambers at the Londonderry town offices.
The meeting’s subject is the state’s 10-year transportation plan.
Topics to be covered include the Interstate 93 project, including Exit 4A, and how the town of Londonderry is involved in the process.
Leach Library hosts program on bees
Leach Library hosts a program on bees, beekeepers and bee facts for children on Sept. 16 from 4 to 5 p.m.
Advance registration is required. The program includes stories, and each child will receive a plush bee toy to take home.

Women’s Club plans social
The Londonderry Women’s Club hosts its “Welcome Back” September Social on Sept. 18 at 7 p.m. at the Morrison House and Barn on Pillsbury Road.
Everyone is welcome to attend. The club meets monthly on the third Wednesday of each month from September to May.

Creature Teachers visit Leach Library
Leach Library hosts a “Creature Teachers” program on Sept. 23 from 4 to 5 p.m.
The presentation includes live animals like a fox, fisher and a turtle.

Elder Affairs hosts series Sept. 25
The town’s Elder Affairs Committee hosts a family education series at Leach Library on Sept. 25 from 6 to 7 p.m.
The program will help introduce the Veteran Community Partnership and will provide an overview of the programs and services available through the Veterans Administration.
Local Democrats meet monthly
The Londonderry Democratic Committee meets monthly on the last Wednesday of each month at Milana Legal, 78 West Broadway, Derry. The meeting begins at 7 p.m.
